We do traditional portraits, too!
Want your active family to sit still for a session? No problem! Capture the whole family plus smaller groupings, like mom or dad with kids, and kids only. Indoors or outdoors, we use professional strobes to make the lighting perfect. We’ll work closely with you to get the details perfect — from clothing to poses to the print sizes you’re dreaming of. Hello & Co. photos are watermark free. We never put our logo on your family’s faces! There’s no need to sell you extra images or files after the fact. You get all the photos you expect, just the way you need them, so you can share or print as you wish.

01. What activities make for a good session?
Our REAL approach centers on routines personal to you, environments meaningful to you, and authentic family interactions that capture life as it is really lived. Real life is beautiful, and our client families love to see back in time to the reality they lived when the kids were small. Your session can center on whatever your family does on a typical Saturday. We’ll have 3 hours to follow where life leads — waking up from a nap, having a snack, making cookies together, playing around the house, heading to the park, going to get ice cream — there are no rules. Great sessions are about the things you do in this life you love.
02. How can I prepare for my session?
When you book an Active Family session with us, we work to make your experience effortless. We’ll take the time to get to get to know you and share ideas. During our pre-session visit, we’ll identify the best places to shoot. At your home, we can identify key fixes — as easy as clearing clutter from a nightstand — that make any space look great. Trust me. There’s no need to worry or stage your entire house. Together, we’ll come up with a plan to make your session beautiful and authentic — and above all, stress-free.
03. What should I have my family wear?
Our goal is to tell your real life story, so come as you are! Because we’ll spend significant time together as you go through everyday activities, costume changes often become a natural part of Family Lifestyle sessions. Sometimes moments we don’t plan — like the struggle to get shoes on to go outside — become the most magical aspects of your unique session.
